Golf Job Opportunities... General Manager

You wait all day for a Manager to comer along... and then two come at once.

The par three 17th on Powerscourt's West course.
In recent years, clubs have been cutting back on staff and it has been surprising to see Secretary Managers/General Managers etc. being cut from the roster. This is especially true at country golf clubs where finances have shrunk drastically. So it is positive for the Irish golf industry that two well known clubs are now searching for fresh blood.

Powerscourt and Seapoint.

1. A Golf Club Manager is required for Powerscourt Golf Club, following the retirement of the esteemed Bernard Gibbons. Bernard received a rather special award at the Golfer's Guide to Ireland Awards last Monday night, for his service to golf. Details of the job are here, in the Irish Times. Someone has big shoes to fill.

2. And a Secretary Manager is required by Seapoint Golf Links to manage all the clubhouse operations. A well regarded links and only 50km from Dublin Airport. With the excellent 18th outside your window you might want to build some golf into your contract.
