Photos of Cork's Golf Clubs

The drive down the 10th at Fota Island
A recent visit to the Fota Island Resort, for the launch of the Irish Open 2014, gave me the opportunity to take some photographs of the courses down that way. See below

Fota Island's 6th hole - the original tee, where mere mortals play from.
The Pro tee for the Irish Open will be to the right, down on the water.

The bunkers underneath the 6th green

The tee shot through the trees on the short par five 18th. Expect a few
eagles at the end of June.

Cork Golf Club. This is the view over the 5th green. The 6th tees are
right on the edge on the left side of the image.

A daunting tee shot down into the quarry on Cork's par four 8th.
The hole doglegs left at the bunkers.

The new green complex and bunkering on Cork's par four 12th

The Old Head. Little needs to be said about the 18th (shot from
the clubhouse balcony), except pay a visit to the Black
tees, right under the lighthouse.
A lovely par three - the 12th at Water Rock. Try it from the back tee, for a
carry over water all the way.
