|Penina's 1st hole|
Penina is one of those glorious courses that feels like a classic. And it is a classic. It is the Algarve's oldest course, designed by Sir Henry Cotton, and it has hosted the Portuguese Open on numerous occasions. In total, there are three courses here, but the Championship course is the main event, greatly helped by a recently refurbished five star resort and a new practice facility that is outstanding.
The hotel is a big, sparkling white beast, with pools splashed around the place and a real buzz of activity.

Your Golf Travel £195Your Golf Travel has a variety of excellent offers for three, four and seven day trips which include accommodation and, in most cases, unlimited golf. Prices start at £195 for a three night trip. That's £65 per night, including breakfast and as much golf as you can manage. To play here, that's a bargain.
I'd also recommend checking out www.clubstohire.com for your golf clubs as they have a stand in Faro Airport. Why drag your clubs all that way when you can hire some of the latest brands from £35.
